Family summer party at AWM

For the first time, a family summer party was held for AWM employees and their relatives on June 2, 2023.

On this day, children and relatives had the opportunity to gain an insight into the work and events at AWM.

What do mom, dad, their partner or their own children actually do all day? Where exactly is the workplace and what does it look like? What kind of machines or tools are produced anyway?

All these questions could be answered on the day, whether with normal tours by our management or with our special tour just for the children by the sales managers.

Here, the sequence of our production process was explained in a child-friendly way using our jar assembly. They had the opportunity to take a closer look at the machines and even get their hands on one or two parts.

But it wasn't just the guided tours of the company that made the children's eyes light up. In addition to face painting, an ice cream bike and a creative corner, there was the opportunity to slide down a roller coaster in a crate, ride small pedal forklifts or let off steam on the bouncy castle

The AOK also supported us with a nutrition stand on the subject of nutritional advice - smoothies and employees also had the opportunity to pedal their way to a healthy smoothie on a smoothie bike.

The team from Mühlberg provided culinary catering with coffee and cake, cool drinks as well as salads, freshly grilled meat and vegetarian food.

All in all, it was a great opportunity for families, relatives and former employees to get a little closer to AWM and gain lots of impressions of how the workplace and the work of the employees is organized.
