In loving memory, Stefan Weiss

In deep sorrow, we bid farewell to our long-time colleague, friend and companion Stefan.

Stefan had been part of our AWM family since July 22, 1996. He was passionately dedicated to mechanical engineering design and shaped our company for many years with his ideas, expertise and tireless commitment. He played a key role in the development of numerous assembly and testing machines and made a decisive contribution to establishing and further developing 3D design in our company.

His commitment went far beyond technical expertise. Stefan was always the first person in the office, sought out exchanges with colleagues in the assembly hall and enthusiastically followed the development of "his" machines. His creative approach to complex tasks, his sense of humor and his ability to remain calm even in difficult situations made him a valued and popular colleague.

In addition to his professional passion, Stefan loved his home town of Ilmenau, nature and being out and about - whether swimming, cycling or traveling, especially to France, whose culture and art of wine he greatly appreciated.

With his precise thinking, his charm, his loyalty and his humor, Stefan enriched our everyday working life and left traces that will remain.

We say goodbye with gratitude.
Stefan will live on in our memories and in our hearts.
